Did you know that we sell Refill Kits for your candles!? I’m a big believer in finding ways to give things a second life when I can. This is especially true when it’s something that’s SUPER CUTE and I hate having to toss in the garbage! While candle jars can be reused in so many fun ways, (we even wrote a blog for 6 Unique Ways To Give Your Candle A New Life) there is still the option to continue using them for their original candle jar purpose!
So, if you’ve ever bought a vessel from us in the past and want to continue to re-use it as a candle, here is your answer!
It’s a super fun DIY to try out too, giving you a little glimpse into part of the process of how we make thousands of candles each year! We offer many of our seasonal scents in our Refill Kits, so you’ll have plenty to choose from. We’re always changing them out and adding new options year-round too!
Our Refill Kits come with:
- 12 ounces of scented wax
- a stir stick
- one wick
- a wick holder
- detailed instructions on how to pour your own candle!
And guess what - these Refill Kits don’t have to necessarily be used for just a ‘refill.’
Our kits can also be used on that vintage glass jar that was a hand-me-down from your Gram, or a fun jar that you've had sitting in your house that you'd like to re-use and style as a candle! The possibilities are endless to get creative and make it a fun activity! Just make sure that the circumference of your jar is approximately 3 inches wide, or the wick included will not be suited for the jar.
Just like all of our Dirt Road Candle Co. candles, our Refill Kits give you the same high-quality ingredients. We use pure, renewable, American grown soy wax infused with paraben & phthalate-free premium fragrances with 100% cotton wick. While many candles that you see in stores and online contain toxic ingredients, we want you to feel safe burning our candles in your home by keeping those unnecessary and unhealthy ingredients at bay.
