The proper tool makes every task easy! This is the essential one for maintaining your candle's wick properly. These rose gold or black matte wick trimmers make the perfect conversation piece and add a quaint and sophisticated touch to your interior space.

Our heavy-duty metal wick trimmer clips wicks to 1/4" to ensure a clean, even flame for a longer lasting candle and maximum fragrance. Long enough to reach the bottom of our Large Jar Candles, the Wick Trimmer's design easily lets you remove the clipped wick safely. You can't do that with a pair of scissors!

Caring for your Candles
To enjoy your candles to their fullest, a certain amount of care is required. Keeping their wicks trimmed properly will help your candles burn fully and last longer. Specifically, your candle's wick should be trimmed after every 4 hours of burn time. Let the candle come to room temperature, then trim the wick to 1/4-inch before relighting. That length helps create complete combustion, which means less soot is formed while the candle is burning. This is where our Wick Trimmer comes in - place the bottom of the trimmer flush with the candle surface, rock the trimmer back so that its "elbow" rests on the surface, this keeps the trimmer at a 45-degree angle and helps ensure the cut is to the proper length. Simple! Enjoy your candles and their fragrances, then repeat again after every 4 hours of burn time.

Get one. Or two. I get much better candle lifetimes by using it. Great gift for your candle-loving friends!

A necessary tool!

This wick trimmer is really a lot better than all the weird tools I've used to trim my wicks before! A note: I bought the black one because I didn't want it to show the black of the burned wick all over the tool after trimmings, but I would recommend getting the lighter colors so it's easier to see where you're trimming the wick.

A wick trimmer is a MUST if you want to prolong the life of your candle! It works so much better than regular scissors, especially for deep candles!
