1 - 4 oz Iowa Barn Door Candle: Scents have a certain way of taking you back to a time or place and this scent does just that. This scent reminds me of the scent when I walk through our Iowa barn door when feeding cattle. The musky wood combined with the smell of fresh cut hay up in the hay mound, this scent takes me to my favorite place on our farm...the barn! It is a combination of sandalwood and cedarwood essential oils, softened by warm amber and a touch of nutmeg and lemon. 

1 - 4 oz Mama's Kitchen Candle: Mama's Kitchen will fill your home with the smell of fresh bakery goods! Warm notes of vanilla and butter sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. This will take you right back to your mama's kitchen! 

1 - 4 oz Shiplap Candle: Our best selling candle is a sweet and sultry fusion of mandarin, jasmine, and rich amber with undertones of sandalwood and musk. Complex, intriguing and sensual, this fragrance has year-round appeal and is one of our top sellers every year! 

Dirt Road Candle Co. candles are hand poured in small batches in Atlantic, Iowa. We use pure, renewable, American grown soy wax infused with paraben & phthalate free premium fragrances with 100% cotton wick. Variations in the look and texture of the wax will vary from candle to candle. These differences are not considered defects nor will they affect how your candle burns. 

Allow your candle to reach a full melt pool during every burn. This is where the wax is completely melted around the whole diameter of the jar. This will ensure a clean, even burn for the life of your candle. Always keep the wick trimmed to 1/4". 

Please note that the mason jars are reusable after your candle is finished. Simply pop the wick out of the bottom of your mason jar and dispose of it. Then, put the mason jar into the microwave until the remaining wax is melted. Use a paper towel to wipe the remaining melted wax out of the jar. Put into dishwasher to clean and sanitize. Reuse for years to come!
