8 oz. Sunday Brunch Candle

There is nothing better in the fall than a slow weekend morning with pancakes and bacon fresh off the griddle. It starts with top notes of made from scratch buttermilk batter, the heart of the fragrance is rich maple sugary goodness, and the base is full of smokey salty bacon!

Dirt Road Candle Co. candles are hand poured in small batches in Atlantic, Iowa. We use pure, renewable, American grown soy wax infused with paraben & phthalate free premium fragrances with 100% cotton wick. Variations in the look and texture of the wax will vary from candle to candle. These differences are not considered defects nor will they affect how your candle burns.

Allow your candle to reach a full melt pool during every burn. This is where the wax is completely melted around the whole diameter of the jar. This will ensure a clean, even burn for the life of your candle. Always keep the wick trimmed to 1/4".

Please note that the jars are reusable after your candle is finished. Simply pop the wick out of the bottom of your mason jar and dispose of it. Then, put the mason jar into the microwave until the remaining wax is melted. Use a paper towel to wipe the remaining melted wax out of the jar. Put into dishwasher to clean and sanitize. Reuse for years to come!

Banana Bread Wax Melts

I have no sense of smell, but love to get candles and wax melts. I put a banana bread melt in, and after 10 minutes my 4 year old goes, “Are you making banana bread?” I just started laughing, and explained it was a melt. You know you have done a great job If a 4 year old can recognize the small!!

Trick your family!

My favorite way to eat pancakes is to heat up the butter and syrup together, then dump it on, and then add powdered sugar just to make sure you sugar crash super hard before lunch. This candle is that. It's butter and syrup mixed together, heated up, and poured all over my hot cakes. Trick your family into thinking you just made them a fresh stack by burning this in the morning. (It is trick or treat season after all!). (I got this scent in a candle!)
